Our grinder chews the stump 6–8 inches below the surface, turning it into mulch. We rake the area level — keep the mulch for your beds or we'll haul it off. Most residential stumps take 30–60 minutes. Combine it with a tree removal and save on the trip charge.
Most single stumps run $150–$350 depending on diameter and root spread. Multiple stumps on one visit get a volume discount — it's always cheaper per stump when we're already set up on your property.
6–8 inches below grade as standard — deep enough to sod, plant, or re-landscape over. Deeper grinding available on request.
We ask about underground lines before grinding and mark accordingly. Call 811 for a free utility locate if you're unsure — it takes a few days, so plan ahead.
